Cistrocoat® Seed Coating Polymers are engineered to protect every seed from mechanical and environmental damage at every stage — from the coating line through storage, transport and into the field. Beyond protection, Cistrocoat® improves seed flowability, enables precise application of fungicide treatments, nutrients and colorants, and delivers a premium finish that reflects the quality of the seed inside. Suitable for both film coating and pelleting applications.
A well-chosen seed coating maximises the potential of every seed planted. Cistrocoat® polymers deliver proven performance across cereals, cotton, vegetables and virtually any crop species. Our products are compatible with indigenous seed dressing drums as well as modern continuous drum coaters, pan coaters with simultaneous drying systems and rotary systems — no special modifications required.
Cistrocoat® is available in a full spectrum of colours: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Aqua, Blue, Violet, Pink, White, Silver and Lucent (transparent). Custom colour and finish specifications are accommodated to meet individual customer requirements.
The Cistrocoat® range offers three distinct performance grades. XSP delivers an extra super pearlescent finish for the most demanding premium applications. SP provides a super pearlescent finish combining quality and value. EP offers a cost-effective pearlescent finish without compromising on appearance. Where retaining the natural seed appearance is preferred, the Lucent grade gives seeds a clean, transparent coating.
